New Bus Service

New service for Birch Coppice site  A new bus service is being launched in the New Year to serve North Warwickshire’s burgeoning Birch Coppice development.From Monday 7 January the 766 service will operate between Atherstone, Baddesley Ensor, Birch Coppice, Ventura Park and Tamworth. Subsidised by Warwickshire County Council and operated by Stagecoach Midlands using low floor, easy access vehicles, the service will provide transport for workers currently employed at the huge Birch Coppice development and also for potential employees as the site expands.Cllr Peter Butlin, Warwickshire County Council’s Portfolio Holder for Highways and Transport, said: “The new service demonstrates the commitment by the county council towards delivering our 'Going for Growth' agenda.

the 762 covering the Atherstone town area and the 763 serving Birchley Heath will have revised timetables starting Monday 7 January. These services will also be operated by Stagecoach Midlands.The 762 which serves the Mancetter, Carlyon Road and St Georges Road areas of the town, will now be extended to include a loop around Repington Avenue and Warwick Drive off Sheepy Road.
